JK Helps Local Women’s Shelter Do More with Less

JK Moving proudly donated moving services to Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS) this past week. We removed excess furniture to donate to Habitat for Humanity and created a more streamlined space for the LAWS staff. The project involved moving office furniture and contents within their Community Services Center. We are excited to share a rave review from LAWS Executive Director, Judy Hanley: “We’re extremely grateful for your donation of move services on February 18 and 19, 2019.  With many items to be removed and many others to be relocated within our Community Services Center, it was a complicated project! Celebrate the Season of Giving with JK

No One Should Go Hungry This Fall I recently learned that one in eight Americans go hungry and rely on their local food banks. More than 50% of those people are either children, elderly, or disabled. With the high cost of living in the DC metro area, many families are working hard, but struggle to put food on the table. When struggling with hunger, a lavish holiday dinner isn’t even a possibility. But together, we can provide hope and nourishment for those in need—and help them have a special holiday season. Join JK Moving Services in the fight against local […]
