JK Moving is pleased to announce the arrival of Joe Quill as an Account Executive for the Archives group. Joe has 18 years of experience in the storage and transportation industry, getting his start in the residential moving and storage business in 1995. For the past eight years, Joe has dedicated his career to offsite records storage and archiving.
We recently sat down with Joe to learn more about him, his role, and how he helps customers with their archiving needs.
Joe, why do you like the archiving business?
I like the business because it makes sense. The people I interact with on a daily basis have a direct need, and I can offer a direct solution. I find it really rewarding to stand in front of potential customers and know that I have and can provide an answer that is customized specifically for them and their business.
What motivates you or provides the most satisfaction about your job?
Part of my job is educating customers about the archiving world because so many people are unfamiliar with the advantages and capabilities that the archiving and records storage industry offers. It’s really a pleasure being able to share my knowledge and expertise with customers and know that I can provide them a service they didn’t think was even a possibility.
What is your main focus when serving a customer?
Sitting and really listening to my customers’ archiving and storage issues and concerns help me uncover their primary needs. I can then use my industry knowledge and experience to develop a top–notch customer service solution tailored for them and their company.
What’s been your impression of JK to this point?
I have only been with JK for a couple of months, but what stands out the most is the enthusiasm and dedication of every employee.
